Senior Legal Counsel

• Responsibility for medical device classification and regulatory differentiation, including assessing whether products fall within medical device regulations, defining appropriate regulatory positioning, and working closely with product and technical teams to ensure compliant market placement
• Ownership of key compliance areas, including Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, export classifications, and export control screening, ensuring adherence to applicable international regulations and internal policies across jurisdictions
• Providing practical, business-oriented legal advice on day-to-day operations, acting as a trusted partner to commercial, product, and operational teams, supporting decision-making in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Identifying legal and regulatory risks early, proposing pragmatic solutions, and enabling the business to operate efficiently while maintaining compliance
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and, where necessary, coordinating with external counsel on specialized legal matters

• Qualified lawyer 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an international environment
• Expertise in healthcare/biotech is essential 
• Compliance knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
