(Senior) Legal Counsel – Competition Law

• Advising on competition and antitrust matters with a strong focus on merger control and related regulatory requirements
• Preparing and coordinating merger control filings across multiple jurisdictions (e.g. EU, Brazil, Saudi Arabia)
• Handling foreign direct investment (FDI) screenings and assessing regulatory approval risks for cross-border transactions
• Providing merger control assessments and strategic guidance in the context of M&A deals
• Supporting additional antitrust topics beyond merger control
• Developing internal guidelines, playbooks and compliance trainings on merger control, FDI and broader competition law topics
• Collaborating closely with M&A and other cross-functional teams throughout the transaction lifecycle

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally in a large international environment
• Proven experience in competition/antitrust law including merger control and FDI matters
• Strong understanding of cross-border M&A and competition regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and international legal teams
