Senior Compliance Officer

• Conduct and independently oversee KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for new and existing clients, including complex and high-risk relationships.
• Perform enhanced due diligence, sanctions, and PEP screening, assess AML risks, and independently investigate and escalate complex or potentially suspicious cases.
• Take ownership of ongoing AML compliance activities, including periodic reviews, remediation projects, and risk-based client assessments.
• Act as a senior point of contact for Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Front Office teams, providing guidance on KYC/AML matters and ensuring adherence to internal policies and Swiss regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps and drive improvements in KYC/AML processes, controls, and procedures while maintaining a strong understanding of evolving financial crime risks and regulatory developments.

• 5+ years of AML/Compliance experience within a banking or financial services environment, with strong exposure to KYC, CDD, sanctions screening, and general AML processes.
• Good knowledge of Swiss AML regulations, FATF recommendations, and AML best practices. Experience in private banking and cross-border business is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. CAMS or ICA certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Fluency in Spanish with working knowledge of English.
