Alpinum Solutions is a leading provider of managed legal services in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein.
For our client, a global technology company in the energy sector, we are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Lawyer to support with extended producer responsibility (EPR) and related environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and translate regulatory requirements (EPR, chemical, battery, and waste management) into practical internal processes
- Monitor legal developments such as EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and assess their business impact
- Develop pragmatic compliance controls and advise on their implementation
- Provide regulatory guidance on product compliance topics, including packaging, batteries, and chemical management
- Engage in regulatory watch and implementation support
- Optionally provide support on ESG, supply chain transparency and due diligence topics
Experience & Qualifications
- Legal background strongly preferred
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance related to packaging, batteries, and chemical/waste management
- Experience working in a complex corporate environment
- Exposure to EPR and product-related
