Alpinum Solutions is the leading Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein, specializing in Interim Legal & Compliance workforce solutions for complex mandates. For our client, a Swiss bank, we are looking for a Legal Advisor Regulatory Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess regulatory developments (e.g., FINMA circulars) and translate them into internal policies and procedures.
- Act as the main contact for FINMA and coordinate regulatory inquiries, reports, and onsite inspections.
- Advise Legal, Compliance, and business teams on Swiss and cross-border regulations (e.g., FIDLEG, CRD VI).
- Analyze and resolve regulatory and supervisory matters affecting the bank.
- Support the implementation of regulatory requirements and maintain the internal policy framework.
Experience & Qualifications
- Swiss Bar admission
- Several years of experience in legal, compliance, regulatory, or supervisory functions within the Swiss financial sector
- Strong knowledge of Swiss banking regulations, FINMA requirements, FIDLEG, and AML
- Fluent in German
