Alpinum Solutions is a leading provider of managed legal services in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein.
For our client, an internationally active financial institution, we are looking for a Compliance Officer (KYC Review) to support a high-impact task force project onsite in Zurich.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess existing client KYC documentation and ensure full compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Perform gap analysis and coordinate uplift activities to address missing or outdated information
- Conduct thorough screening and background checks on potential clients to identify any adverse news, sanctions, or politically exposed persons (PEPs) in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Evaluate the risk profile of high-risk clients and transactions (AML) by analyzing their source of funds, business activities, and relationships to mitigate potential risks effectively
- Prepare comprehensive Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports that highlight key findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for further action, ensuring all findings are documented accurately
Experience & Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Resident in Switzerland
- Min. 1 years of PQE
- Completed legal degree and/or relevant compliance certification
