Alpinum Solutions is a leading provider of managed legal services in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein.
For our client, an internationally active company in the field of pharma, we are looking for a Data Privacy Lawyer (m/f/d) to provide maternity coverage for at least 4 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on GDPR and applicable national data privacy legislation (e.g. German data privacy law)
- Monitor global data privacy legislation (e.g. Latam, Africa, Asia)
- Advise on implications and requirements in case of data breaches
- Lead and manage data protection projects and regional compliance initiatives
- Support transactional work regarding DPAs, TIAs and related clauses
- Manage DP consultants and coordinate with external counsel
- Draft data protection policies, privacy notices and data sharing agreements
- Respond to data subject access requests and inquiries
- Work on compliance aspects involving AI governance and IT systems
- Draft LIAs/DPIAs and advise on data retention policies
- Conduct internal trainings
- Provide DP advice to labor and HR teams
- Act as internal point of contact for ongoing DP matters
Experience & Qualifications
- Solid knowledge and experience in GDPR and relevant EU data privacy laws
- Legal background with practical exposure to data privacy projects
- Experience advising international stakeholders and managing external counsel
- Fluency in English is required
