Data Privacy Lawyer

• Provide legal advice on GDPR and applicable national data protection laws (e.g. German data privacy law)
• Advise on data privacy requirements in the event of data breaches
• Conduct data privacy assessments for transactions including drafting DPAs, TIAs and contractual clauses
• Manage data privacy projects and oversee consultants and external counsel
• Respond to DSARs and other data subject requests via the DP mailbox
• Draft privacy policies, notices, data sharing agreements and related documentation
• Support regional and global data privacy compliance initiatives
• Advise on data privacy implications in AI governance and data retention policies
• Work on data privacy aspects related to IT systems and tools
• Draft DPIAs and LIAs
• Deliver DP training sessions across the organization
• Advise labor relations group on data privacy matters
• Act as internal point of contact for data privacy questions

• Solid experience advising on GDPR matters in Germany or broader EU
• Familiarity with data privacy frameworks in other jurisdictions (e.g. Latin America, Africa, Asia)
• Fluency in English
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to collaborate across functions
