Claims Specialist

• Manage and process marine claims, with a focus on cargo claims
• Handle liability claims for freight forwarders as required
• Ensure accurate and timely claims assessment, documentation and settlement
• Communicate with internal departments, clients and service providers
• Maintain clear reporting and case management records

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in claims handling, ideally within an international insurance company
• Strong understanding of marine insurance, particularly cargo and freight liability
• Proficient in both German and English (written and spoken)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage claim workloads efficiently
